Quick sheath question BGSFNO

Hi, I'm picking up a BGSFNO which I think is going to be a gift and want to include a basic sheath with it. It's a 7 inch blade and I think the BG is a little thicker than the CG. What would fit better the 6 inch spec ops or the 8 inch? Also does anyone have experience with the rothco GI type nylon sheath, which are 1/3rd the price?

My SFNOLE needed the 8 inch spec ops. Thickness shouldn't be a problem. The spec ops is good to 0.25 inch thick I think. Here's mine (gone now :( ) third from the left:

Not for sure sure but I think that's one I had BuyBrown make me a molded insert for because it rattled around too much stock. It's been a while though so I may be wrong..

edit: I was wrong, I've got straight kydex on that one, the one with the molded insert was a Fehrman..

All good advice. However, make sure you check because the BG SFNO is a little bigger than the standard SFNO (I think by 1/4 in). Just a heads up.
