Hey I just put a rainbow spyderfly in 440c on hold at the trading post.(used my benchmade rukus as a trade in). I was wondering if this was a regular production model, or if it was some sort of sprint. Because I know the silver handled ones were in production for a while.

Also this thing is mint, in box factory edge, for $150. How do you think I did? Even if I'm overpaying i dont mind because I want it sooooo bad. Gonna trade in a few other knives to get that and maybe a military plain edge.

Thanks for any info.

They were regular production, but were only available for a relatively short time before being "recalled". MSRP was $122, so street price back then would have been around $80. Current value depends on whether one considers their outlaw status to be a liability, or an asset. ;) :D

I picked up a rainbow Spyderfly a couple of months ago for $130. Mine didn't have a box, but is in new condition, so you're in the general price range.

Alright, thanks taco. I traded in my forester, rukus, orange grip and paramilitary for the spyderfly and a brand new Military.
