A quick story some of you might find funny.
Ok, so I was in Mexico for a resort wedding last month. After the ceremony and dinner it was party time. Everyone Dancing and having a great time, but it was hot. Hot and muggy with zero breeze. Coming from Canada in December none of us were really acclimatized to the heat or humidity, and everybody was warm.
Warm as in melting. Sweating like pigs, the whole lot of us. So my wife had this long red dress on and didn't want to go change, so she asked if I'd cut her dress off at the knees with my pocket knife. My dragonfly 2 made quick work of the thin cotton. Then the bride saw what was going on and wanted me to hack her wedding dress off at the knees. I mean I got it done, but there were layers to hack through. 10 seconds in, " wish I had my milli". So just so you guys know, the dragonfly 2 really isn't the best choice for altering wedding dresses on the fly. Oh, and you should have saw the look on the brides moms face while this was going down.
Priceless.

we had a pretty good laugh.
The bride came and grabbed it again when it was time to cut the cake.
Again probably not the best choice for wedding cake but she tried anyway.
ill try to find a pic of that too.

Hahahahaha that bride musta been a little drunk or very down to earth.
Only gunna wear it once right?!

Nice. That's my kind of woman. I should have married the Mexican girlfriend instead of the Irish one. The Mexican culture is just remarkably unpretentious and laid back. At any of the weddings I've been to, the bride would have murdered anyone (especially a male) who so much as touched one of the dresses. I could have picked the down to earth one, but noooooo, I had to like the haughty one with freckles lol.

well the bride wasn't mexican.
Canadian, scottish decent i think.
it was just a wedding IN mexico.
i agree though, the mexican people we're great.

I read this a couple days ago, but I forgot to chime in, great story, thx. for sharing it.

Wow that's quite a story! Here in Texas, most women would end up doing 5-99 for murder if someone cut up their dress!
