[/IMG]I just wanted to extend a quick thank you to all who have posted advice and tutorials. It got me off my butt and started on making my own sheaths. I started with a vertical sheath for an Old Timer folder as a first rough project (was it ever!) just to get my hands started on doing something, and today I just finished a pouch sheath for a Rodent Solution that came out substantially better. It's still a little rough as I don't yet have access to a belt sander to clean up the edges, but as soon as I do it'll be a sheath I'll be proud to wear. Thanks again!
Finally got some pics up. A little amateurish compared to the work I've seen here (Marred the leather when wet, stitches on back could be straighter, I should have cut the firesteel tab into the design rather than stick it in as an afterthought, edges sharp, edge unburnished) but I learned a lot an now have a way to carry the Rodent Solution! Fit is a little snug, but I hope it'll wear in in time. In the meantime to aid extraction I've added a lanyard with a diamond knot on it.
Here ya go bud. You almost had it, just be sure when you paste your link into the popup window to remove the"http://" that is automatically inserted there for you. You can hit reply with quote to see how its posted.

Sheath looks nice, BTW!
Oops! Didn't realize your link was to an album. When you are viewing a picture in your album there should be a "share" button. Look for the link with
tags and copy it. Paste it directly into your post. I fixed your previous link for you.
