Just a quick question ladies and gents. And I know the overall decision is mine and is subjective, but still.... I've been offered a N/LNIB s110v 0560 for my N/LNIB CRK large micarta insingo. Care to weigh in? I'm leaning towards doing it bc my god that 560 is wicked looking!!! Thanks everyone!!!

but get cash

ZT is the best but i am a kershaw junkie, the cost difference is not on your side. but with time, i think the Zt is better knife - mine is in the mail!

what you want for the CRKT? pm me BHQ has ZT yestersay for 385

that knife is way over priced - note i am not chriss reeve fan he is about cash! period debate it - i am out

hinder knife is way better, as far looks, omg, it like looking at 1980's vette vs the new stingray - way over price, not the vetter the knife.

35 vs compsite?

technolgy is not even close!

ZT rules!

o wait..... and chris made 35sv he pushed the metallurgist at crucibleo ya chris has tighter tolerance then a raptor f-22

The Reeve is definitely worth more from a Retail point of view and it will hold its value. But the ZT is a limited run that people are all ready making a huge profit on. So even though the 0560 sells anywhere between 375=$400+ you can bet the farm that price is going to go up. Especially after the last are shipped and no more deals are to be found. There will always be more CRK insingos. So I would do it. Even with the CRK being more money when first sold in a store (if no gouging is involved) the ZT is sure to surpass or may all ready have surpassed the CRK in value

It doesn't seem to be going up in price. In fact it spiked then quickly receded.
I really doubt this knife will go past the $500 mark.

1) CRKT is not CRK
2) That's a bold statement. Care to back it up? Seems like you are just stirring up the pot and leaving!

I would pass. But I am a CRK fan, not so much a ZT fan. Owned a couple of ZT and sold them off. They are a nice knife, but I don't think they compare with CRK's fit and finish.

This.

I would get the ZT, you could buy another CRK any time (provided you have the money) but the ZT is limited and will probobly be worth more than the CRK in a month or two. Just my 2 cents:)

BTW....that right there is why you should make the trade. Sounds like that 560 gets your juices going. None of us is going to come up with a better reason for you for/gainst the trade than that.

Just get the darn thing and enjoy it.

I wouldn't, but that's just me. No knife could replace my Sebenza.

That version of the 560 is definitely sweet tho!

Thanks so much guys. Frontline I hear ya and if the insingo were my only CRK I might pass, but I have a CF Sebenza also. Yeah I love CF! And Marcinek, I believe you are right! It does get my juices going! I think I'm gonna email the guy now and make the trade. Thanks for all your opinions. They were much appreciated. :)

For an actual user, day to day, I would go Insingo. I had a 561, and have a large micarta Insingo. The Insingo is the better knife in my opinion, but I still like the 560/561 design. Buy the 560 outright, then the other party has money to put towards an Insingo for themselves, and you have two knives now.

:D :p
