...just a quick note to everyone, I am in Washington right now visiting Survival Sheath Systems before attending the show in Eugene, Oregon tomorrow and Saturday. I will be back in the office on Tuesday.
I want to be proactive and share a few thoughts regarding our Next Generation Ranger Spike Tomahawk. After a hard session of throwing here on Anderson Island, where the NG indeed buries deeper in hardwood than it has ever done before due to the improved geometry, I noticed some very small, but evident handle/head slack, which I didn't like...it moved up out of the head about a 1/16th of an inch, and was quickly put back down with a hammer strike. In short, this model should NOT do this, period.
This has also happened to a handful of recent customers. Justin has already started the machining adjustments to run some bombproof handles to replace any customer's handle that loosens, even a hair.
If this happens to you, the replacement will resolve it, PERMANENTLY, and we guarantee it. If it doesn't happen to your Hawk, it means we got it right on yours the first time.
Nuff said'.
Talk to you all when I get back and thanks for your support.
