Quick warranty question!

I was thinking of putting some glow powder/epoxy mixture in the upper hollow pins of my Warden, as a way of having it be more visible in a night situation. (dropped etc....) Would this screw up the warranty, since the epoxy mixture could technically be permanent? (I guess stripper would remove it, but how would that affect the G10?) Or is it cool, since it doesn't effect the blade?

Dude, just glow away!

I would not worry about it at all. You're not compromising the integrity of the knife construction so it should not be anything to worry about:D

If you can drive it into a cinder block and bend it until the tip breaks off without voiding the warranty, I'm guessing you can paint it.

I'd be careful, it only took a couple of hours with a sledge hammer ripping up pavement to do in a Battle Mistress. You'd better be careful with that "epoxy" stuff you're talking about, you just can't tell what kind of damage it may do.:D

Seriously, you can do an quite a bit to a Busse before the warranty is voided, now Ducci on the other hand he can void a warranty in five minutes flat, three if he's been drinking.

jerry glows in the dark so my guess is it will double your warranty

let us see the pics, both day and night please

Though I like your idea, another option is to go to shop.ratknives.com and pick up one of the reflective lanyards that Eric sells there (his daughter makes them). They really show up when you hit them with light.

Rock on pics, will be posted when its done! But I have all this cool glow powder, and jewelers epoxy, and I like glow in the dark stuff on top of its usefulness!

That's cool. Just FYI, I tossed some of my lanyards on a camo shirt in a dark room and hit them with a flash. You can see how they light up.

Edited to add: The effect is even more pronounced when you hit them with a bright flashlight from a distance in the dark.

Lights up bright. Pic doesn't do it justice.

The glow worms are a great idea !

Would be sweet if you could find a tritrium insert to plant in either the tubes or cut into the scales...

Second the Ratknives glow cord. A little light and pops like crazy from a distance!
