Quick winter hike up Turkey Mtn., NY

So we had to go a cousin's 9th birthday in Yorktown, NY today and my wife gave me the out to take off for a couple of hours.

A five minute drive up the road and we were in the woods.
A steep 0.7 mi. hike up to some glorious views:

North:

West: Croton Reservoir

South: 43 miles away, NYC is slightly left of center on the horizon

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Map Control Station
