Man, that BK5 can really "dole" out the slicing, huh?:p

Ok, that sucked, but that's all I got. Pumkin pie is kickin' in.:D

Arrrrggghhhh! All these evil BK-5 pic threads! :D gonna.....have....to....get....one.....

Thanks for the pics.

Thirsty beaver beer?

Yup. I knew it, the BK5 looked like it would be a monster in the kitchen. I used my BK7 today to chop some veggies, but I have to say, the little "guard" at the end of the handle hits the board before the blade comes all the way down...not great. Any problems with the "5"?

MY KINDA PICTURE! (and beer!) :D

the BK5 makes me want to go AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR! like a bloodthirsty pirate!

Great pictures! I really could have used one while helping to prep for dinner today. The In Laws don't have a very good collection of kitchen cutlery....:(

Thirsty Beaver - best beer name EVER :) Is it targeted at girls?

Pineapples - the most aggressive acid I've ever found in fruits.

Nice pics. Haven't gotten to take my new BK-5 for a spin, YET. It's a great slicer for sure.

Sorry, I missed your question earlier.
No, I did not experience a similar problem with the BK-5. Perhaps, because the blade of the MC has a nice curvature.
