I am a truck driver. I do NOT go to Canada or Mexico; just the "lower 48".

I like to have a lockback on my belt, with a 3 1/2 inch to 3 5/8 inch blade length.

Anyplace this Buck 110 type knife would be illegal? The only time it would be "concealed" is in the colder climates, when I have a coat or jacket on.

Would I be better off to just pocket a Opinel Number 8 and forget the belt pouch lockback?

Company policy prohibits anything with a 4 inch or longer blade, or anything that would be considered a "weapon".

In Texas, there is no "concealed" or "concealed" with respect to knives, only "legal" or "illegal", which only apply to public carry, not home/private property possession and use. State-wide, anything single-edged and less than 5-1/2" is legal. Corpus Christi has a 3" limit on folders of any type (and a complete ban on fixed blades). San Antonio has a ban on locking folders, although there are clauses exempting "travelers" and "for work", with no definition of "traveler". An OTRT is obviously a traveler, at least in my mind, as well as needing a knife for work. There are some other city laws that would seldom if ever apply to you.
