Just wondering if anyone who has purchased one of their products has an feedback since there's not a lot out there. I'm interested in their upcoming knife, the chase.

I have no specific feedback for 'quiet carry' - but I can say for certain that more than 50% of kickstarter 'deals' end up as a scam... it's really quite bs, do some historical reading
It's certainly not a scam. I have done some reading. They have several products which have already been well received. Nick Shabazz even reviewed one of their knives. I was just hoping for some new feedback as like I said there isn't a whole lot out there.

I got in on one of Quietcarry's first crowdfunders for the Strand. Rather than write an essay on my thoughts, Google Nick Shabazz' review on it. His comments match my observations exactly.

I would add that I was disappointed with the D2 Steel performance in my Strand; it seemed to be very soft and very quick to stain and tarnish, although I have no emperical evidence beyond a gut feeling.

There are still some things to like about the Strand, especially since it's truly a first attempt at a folder. The Chase with the Sea Grey resin handles looks really cool so I may give Quietcarry another shot.

Is Kickstarter one of our supporting knife dealers?

I'm curious about what is drawing you to the knife. Just looking for something different?

Yea pretty much, and their design language aligns with my tastes I guess. Just getting tired of all the production knives out there, but I'm not quite ready to buy a custom due to the cost. I like idea of this hand poured resin on this chase of theirs. It makes each one a little unique.

Check out the Spyderco Raffir knives. Each one is a little unique. It is brass and copper mesh strands that go through a clear resin making unique 3d patterns on each one.

The Spyderco Zome knives are uniquely dyed each using a Japanese dying process that makes each one unique.

There is also always wood, never the same twice.

Awesome! Like that raffir a lot!

What worries me about raffir is wear. My fear is that it will scratch easily. I'm not usually concerned too much with wear on a knife (they are tools, after all) but I feel like the clear epoxy will really show it.

I have a Quiet Carry Strand that I used to try out anodizing and I actually quite like the knife. It isn't the greatest thing ever but it fits my hand well and I don't mind D2. I jumped on the early bird special for the new Chase with the sea grey scales and black blade and hardware. I get along well with N690 and the price is very fair. I point blank asked the owner about country of manufacture and assembly and was told the US so there's also that.

Really??? Well, made in the US definitely makes me want to jump on board! Just can't decide between the sea grey with black or satin. I hate that black always wears on the blade and hardware...

I have never been inclined to purchase a black blade either but I really like the way it looks with the resin scales on this one. At least you don't have to make a final decision for a few months as blade choice won't go live until the campaign ends.
