Quiet locks?

This might be an odd question but for folders, especially assisted openers that fly open, locks often have that 'CLICK' sound as the blade locks in. Are there any lock types that are very quiet?

Umnumzaan. Quietest folder I've ever had. Pretty sure it's the quietest in existence. The Sebenza 25 is next, but still has a snap because of the stop pin.

I have a John Arnold custom that is surprisingly quiet, because it's so well made.

Next quietest would be anything with an internal stop pin, like the Spyderco Southard or the Reate Hills or my Daboia. Internal stop pins tend to be a little quieter than the usual frame stop pin or stops mounted to the blade (like a ZT056x).

As production knives go, anything you can control open will be quieter than something that's assisted opening or has a flipper. From my experience, benchmade's axis lock is very quiet when you open it slowly. If you really want a flipper, my kershaw skyline, with polished washers, has an extremely extremely quiet opening, if you pop the blade with the flipper and fully open it with the bladestop/thumbstuds. As far as assisted openers, my kershaw leek is pretty quiet. Note that these all still have an audible click, but it's definitely more subdued than something like, a ZT 0560 or something like that of the same size. Remember, the slower you open it, the less noise it makes.
