The Schrade Collectors Forum is rather quiet tonight, and I know why...

...because everyone was on eBay! I even picked up a little something for myself:

Enjoy your booty! Especially you Ducks-n-Bucks. I was watching that one...

I noticed this too. sunday usually seems like a traffic jam around here. cant read threads fast enough cant reply quick enough. today is a ghost town around here. it sucks -joel

I got my booty kicked on eBay. And then one went with no one breaking reserve. Oh well. SOmetimes you get the bear, and sometimes...

I just got back on....which one did I get? Oops, you must mean the 93OT? I bid on that the day it came out.....didn't think it would get pushed as high as it did.

I did fairly well tonight but did let a few slip through my fingers. I really need to focus in a few that I need for completing some of my sets and not just ones to carry. How many can one carry on ones person, 1 to 5, 5 to 10??

I suppose it depends on the pockets, mountaineer. That's really what I'm trying to do. I'm working on having one of every OT folding knife and then will look to complete the UH folding knife collection. I'm afraid that I'll have to talk Larry out of that 2OT and 3OT he has....but that should be relatively easy:D

What I have found that works for me sometimes is when searching on ebay, I just list what type of Schade I am looking for and not just entering Schrade. That way I will not be to open to seeing or buying something other than what I really need at the time. Then I go back later around 11:30 pm or later once everyone is asleep and open up ebay and type in Schrade, you all know the rest of the story.

Picked up a Walden Knife Co reverse stockman that was mis-listed as a Schrade -Walden for $37! Pretty worn blades but the jigged handles are flawless. Did miss out on a NYK co Barlow. I'm trying to keep my knife origins from the same town.
