quikzander, how's the bm 750 coming along?

quickzander is my brother. He showed me the knife he got, it looks awesome! He is very happy with it, carries it everywhere he's allowed to. :)

The opening of the blade is a little stiff. Any suggestions on how to improve that?
 
err..how is he carrying it sans backspacer? the detent is gonna be a little tight on frame locks
