I had enough left of a recent mosaic billet to build this one. I originally thought of an ivory handle but decided that it needed something dark so I went with blackwood.

I've someone coming to see it on Monday then it is off to Paul for some pants.

Let me know what you think.

MS Dagger? ;)

This one being a low layer mosaic probably wouldn't qualify. Anyway, at my age I sincerely doubt if I ever test for either JS or MS. I have built both mono steel & Damascus knives that could pass the performance end of the tests. Who knows if I could pass the rest. ;)That's all up to the judges.

I have and will continue to go to seminars on the ABS judging as I feel that it has & will improve my knifemaking skills but I probably will never put it to the test. :) If I were still 25 then I'm sure that I would like that stamp on my blades but I got started way too late for that. This one is simply going into inventory.

This one is my first quillon-type dagger. Hope you liked it.

Very nice Gary! Terrific blade and fittings. The fluted blackwood adds a real elegance!
