I have posted this dagger in the AKA thread, but thought I would also post it on its own. Another first for me with the fluted and wire wrapped handle. The blade is 1084fg and is 7" long. The furniture and wire are all polished 416 stainless steel. The fluted handle is made from African Blackwood. Overall length is right at 12" and the blade width is 1-1/4" at its widest point. Rob did an excellent job on short notice with this image.

As always comments are welcomed. I hope you all enjoy

James, that is a real beauty. A great addition to anyone's collection, wish it were mine.

Brilliant! I really, really like it, and I know firsthand how hard those things can be to pull off well. What posessed you to use 416 wire? The dead soft argentium silver I used on mine was bad enough. I'll warn you though, they can be addictive. Just 2 months after finishing my first, I'm already working on my second.

Again, outstanding work.

I had a chance to look at this knife recently. It is a well made and beautifully executed knife. I'm excited to see where his knife making is going.
