Twist pattern Damasteel stainless blade.
The handle is made with bronze center, mammoth ivory scales, bronze "bolsters" and stabilized cactus end pieces.
All screws have been hand fileworked.
The sheath is leather with details made of bronze, Damasteel and stabilized cactus.
The stand is Damasteel, bronze and brass with leather and Beaver tail hide base.
The most detailed and intricate knife I have made so far.
This was going to be a keeper to bring to shows. But the current situation in the world has unfortunately changed this...
Overall length: 165mm / 6.5" Blade length: 80mm / 3 5/32" Weight knife: 140g / 5oz
As always, any and all kinds of comments are more than welcome!

Awesome package !!! The knife, sheath and display are all wonderful. The metal touch that you incorporated on the sheath is something else.

There is so much to comment on, yet I'll point out how much I adore the little 'Stonehenge' base.

Bravo!

Magnus although the piece is not really the sort of thing I go for there is no denying the artistic flair, quality of workmanship and huge thought that went into this project.

it's pretty obvious you are a superb craftsman.:)

That is an exceptional piece. So much detail in the stand, sheath and knife. Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

Over time, I've had three of your pieces starting with the trebuchet, which is now with another BF member. This one here is GORGEOUS!!

Definitely missed seeing your knives!! So happy you are back and sharing them with us! That piece is stunning. Wish I could swing scooping that up!!!

Thank you very much for your kind words! Yes adding details in bronze, damascus ivory or other to shaeths is something I really enjoy. even though it take a lot of time...

As always your words are very appreciated indeed Coop! Thank you! Yes the "Stonhenge" idea crossed my mind, as well as Colosseum...

Fabulous.

This is the kind of work that you NEED to keep in front of you so that you can continue to notice little details that otherwise get missed by the overwhelming excellence of the whole package. Great work!
