Seeing as it's the season of giving, I thopught I'd run a little mini contest here with a nice prize for the winner. Here's the scoop; The first person to name the cutlery company in Ireland that Imperial bought in the late seventies, and give the name of the town it's located in, wins a sweet little Imperial Ireland serpentine jack. It's in brand new condition, with the classic black plastic handles and clipped bolsters. Even has some impressive half stops on both blades. here's a shot of the knife:

Good Luck Folks!!

Sharp as the dickens too!

I'll guess the Tullamore Dew Cutlery Company.

I just read this recently somewhere else on BF. I think the company is Jowika, in the town of Listowell, Ireland.

Got it Dave, one knife on it's way. I'm going to have to scrounge around and see what else I have to give away, that was fun:D

How about that Peachseed KON-KAV 863 you nabbed from Hey-Wired about a month ago? I'd study pretty hard for that one! :D

Speaking of this here is one I just got in the mail. "JOKIKA made in the republic of Ireland" so reads the tang stamp. Cool little knife and under ten bucks makes it even better!!!

That's cool Gradall! I wonder what vintage that one is?

Thawk, I wouldn't want to burden anyone with that old thing;) I tried nabbing the Camillus twin (I can't for the life of me recall the model #) he had up but got beaten twice, darned things went for a pretty good buck!

Eric

You're quite welcome Dave, enjoy!!
