Is the forums software doing this? I'm seeing lower case where there shouldn't be any, and the smileys are messed up.

When I saw it the first time, I thought it was the new fella not knowing how to quote. When I saw it the second time, I figured I was just drunk or something was going on with this feature.

when you quote someone using capitals only, the software thinks you are shouting and automatically converts all words to proper / lowercase, even the quoted one's

When you write normally, the software thinks you're normal and doesn't mess with you

Thanks NV. I remember now that the software changes the poster's text, but I did not realize that it applied the same rule to any quoted text included.

I thought maybe Blues had kicked me in the groin so hard that I was seeing things.
