Is this one of the prototypes of the "Rusty" blade several forumites designed??

Perhaps one of them will arrive presently to explain the blade's unusual shape.

I'm fighting with myself over this knife right now. Hopefully someone who could really put it to use will snatch it up before I loose my will.
 
I think you could dress-out game, even scrape hide, and..... and ..cut out a slice of pie from the pan with this remarkable blade!

Ever since Yangdu took over, we've seen one of a kinds, experimentations, custom designs: how hard is this stuff going to be to get in a hundred years, and how much would you have to pay?

Looks like it would work well as a skinner. But I'm sure it would cope with just about anything the mind could come up with.

Munk, just look at what a 11", pound+ custom knife by anyone cost? I would get it in a second but I'm saving up for a third footlocker to keep what I already have secure.

Kind of looks like a kami's interpretation of a Tom Brown Tracker. Probably works just as well!
 
R-8 just showed up, I was hesitent when it was first offered but I am very glad I decided to buy it. Not an EDC but is comfortable in the hand and I think will be useful both in the kitchen or campbox, it would indeed skin a bear or buffalo.
