R A Ruana Bowie Knife

I have a 11 1/2 inch bowie knife that I bought at the Eugene, OR knife show 15 or so years ago. The engraved signature is D A Ruana. Overall the knife is 17 inches long and has a parry strip on the top. Since I bought it I have had it mounted in a special display case. But now I have no place to show it, so I thought I would sell it. The question is, what is it worth. Any help would be appreciated. It turns out that D A is a Ruana cousin and is not affliated with the Ruana company.

Rudy H Ruana. Your knife is from 1984 or earlier, as he retired in that year, and the family changed the markings. They maintain a website here: www.ruanaknives.com .
