Has anyone got their hands on the new RAT Ram's horn railsplitter? CKW has them and the photos look great.

I've got one that Jeff Randall gave me at Blade. It's a nice knife.

The scales are smoother and more finished than on the previous ram's horn "cattle knife".

Also, at least in my case, the blades came with a much better edge. I spent a long time fixing the two blades on the original knife.

I think this one is a nice knife. You don't see many stockman style knives these days with the combination of the surveyor pattern, slanted and pinched bolsters and good D2 steel.

I like mine.

Finally a Railsplitter in something other than 420HC! I'd prefer 1095, but these look really good too. I'll definitely be picking one up.

Thanks for the tip!

Jim

Mine just arrived yesterday from Bill Horn. This may become my favorite new slippie. This is also my first railsplitter and I'm very much liking this style.
