Here's a one of a kind miniature from Reese Bose. A box trapper, for trapping little bitty animals. :D

Even came with instructions. Real knife put in for size comparison.

He also built a full size one for another city slicker who thought you had to sit there and pull on the string close the trap, like in the cartoons.

I need one sized to catch squirrels!!! I hate me some squirrels (my roofer loves them, according to the bill he just sent me for fixing my roof because of those damn devil rats)

How about one to catch the big...and I do mean big...pileated woodpecker that has taken up residence in the area. This species gets almost as big as a crow and mine starts in on the sycamore outside my bedroom window about 5 am...

Oh...forgot about the woodpeckers. Did I mention that I have a cedar sided house. Those damn woodies like the knots in the planks. While the squirrels are the devil rats, the woodies are the demon bats.

That is Too Damn Cool Ed
Thanks for sharing
we'd need one of those a whole lot bigger rats up here are the size of cats
and of course a wilfred works edition of a louisville slugger to dispatch them

Friends,

Woodpeckers, Squirrels, Rats?? Have you folks heard of a .22? Worried about the noise? Here's a few old "home remedies" to take care of the noise. A tennis ball over the end of the barrel works well for muffling the noise, or just get an old lawn mower muffler, a little rubber type glue, and you just slide on the end of the barrel, and all you hear is..a poof! ;)

Now thats one heck of a interesting contraption ;)
If I was to be a woodpecker, squirrel or a rat, I would be proud to end up in a Reese Bose trap. :D

Um ... no doubt that was intended as a harmless joke, but just in case anyone doesn't know, attempting to build a suppressor without filling out all the forms and paying the tax is a very serious crime in the US, whether or not it works.
