This is a Tamiya Ford F350 High-Lift 4WD 4WS 1/10th scale electric truck.
I've been doing some painting, decaling and sticker placement today.
What do ya think? :D

BTW, if you're not sure what size 1/10th scale is, the wheels are 2" diameter and the tires are 3.75" diameter
Soon the "Kershaw" name will not be just a sticker. :D

Very nice Mikey! Until you said the dimensions of the wheels and tires, I had no idea how big it might be, coulda been 4 feet tall judging by the detail. Looks really good;)

2bros-

That is hot!!!! Love the flag (just like their boxes). You have to add the words "speed-safe" on it.

Your next r/c should be a nascar type with the same theme....and than you can get the real f350 to finish it off.

It's only money

Nice job!
Now you just need to make some 1/10th scale Kershaws to put under the front seat and in the glove box.

Mike,

NIIIICE scale work dude. Let me know if you need some LiPos for it :)

Thanks for the compliments guys.
That kit took some weeks to build, about a kabillion pieces. :D
There are around 20-25 gears in the transmission alone that have
to be in sync to function. 3 speeds foward (while moving) and reverse.
It was a headache at times.

it looks very nice.
do you do any racing, or are you more into the scale model side of things? I'm more of an R/C plane kind of guy, but my local hobby shop is mostly about racing, both on road and off, electric and nitro. I've been pretty tempted by the electric off-road trucks.

That is a work of art. It has four things I love. Old Glory,The texas Flag,Ford trucks and kershaw knives. It think I am starting to tear up.

I'm more into trucks and cars. I have 9 total. 7 electric and 2 nitro.
I mainly mess with the nitro and let my friends use the electric models.
Just upgraded one of them to the brushless motor system. Fast....
I really only do it for fun/hobby. Currently building an all dirt track.
J_Curd, here on the subforum is into planes. You might give him a buzz.
He knows a lot about them.

Those are 4 of my favorites too. :D

just installed a working winch on it.
still no mirrors.

changed the paint scheme a little.
pics will come shortly

True trail trucks dont need no stinkin mirrors!

Now all you need is a brushless motor and amazing power system to you can make it go 50mph and watch it explode when it hits something like all my customers do :)

Using it to pull orders from the warehouse yet? :D
