I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company or their products. I'm especially interested in the book they publish about making pipe hawks.

I have the book. It is no frills, but is very helpful. Their products and customer service is excellent. I am really glad they updated thier wbsite recently also.

These prices rock! So are their hawks just for show or are they also good enough for a user?
At that Price I wouldn't mind a less than perfect finish or having to sharpen the blade. I would mind, however, sloppy forging/heat-treatment or inappropriate steel.
