Blade is 11.25" X 1.5" X .25" thick, 1095. The wood is Maple Burl. Overall it's 16.5". The sheath is .25" thick harness leather.
 
I like the design very much. It looks to be well made as well. One thing I don't care for is that there is too much marking on the blade. The RGS and date are okay, but you need a smaller makers mark.
 
Thanks for the input. My makers mark is a fancy "M" by the guard. I spelled out the other to see how it looked. I agree with you Keith, and I'll use just my "M" in the future. And no more drinking with Dremmell in hand.

I like this design, great blade shape and the size is perfect for a large bowie. It sure looks like it begs to be used hard. I agree with Keith. Smaller makers mark and markings and perhaps a little less busy on the sheath as well (which BTW, is quite a good design as well). I like cleaner styling, which is not easy to achieve. Keep 'em coming. Jason.
