, I just picked this up at a flea market. I was going to sharpen and use but have decided to sell it. I did not know it was collectible. I thought it was just an old knife in need of love and care. So i think someone else could take care of it better than me. What i need to know is were should i sell it? Would you try flea bay or something else. What would a fair price be in its current condition? thanks for the help

You would probably do better by upgrading your membership here and put it in the Exchange. More knowledgable people here than the bay.--KV

Contact the good folks at ruanaknives.com. Rudy Ruana died some time ago but family still own and run the knifemaking shop. They are always looking to buy old Ruana knives.

You really should contact Ruana about this and send them pictures. They will have the best idea of what model it is and whether it would be prudent to give it the "spaw treatment" and clean it up. They could also give you an idea to its worth. I would put some research into this before outright selling it.

You could try selling it back to Ruana. They buy back their own old knives.

EDIT: reference post #3. :D
