I read this

The Damascus blade Sebenza will come with a small container of RIG (rust inhibiting grease).

None of my Damascus blade Sebenza has this RIG.

What can i use? And where can I find it?

Rust Inhibiting Grease -----oops I see now that you know what it is.
It is supposed to be ever so slightly applied on certain damascus blades from what I understand.
I don't know who has it in stock.

I believe (but don't hold me to this) that the company which made the stuff for CRK is no longer in business. Regardless, I seem to remember that it shipped with certain high carbon (not the stainless) Damascus blades. However, any good lube will keep your high carbon blades in good shape. I tend to use frog lube on my non-stainless Damascus blades.

Thank you.

Dennis! At first I tough at the poor animal  but after a search now I know what you meant! :D

That's too funny!!!! I guess I better think things out before writing next time!!!! Anyway, glad you know what I was talking about!

It was for use on carbon steel damascus but now CRK only use stainless so it's no longer needed, for recent production knives anyway. :)

It was originally a gun grease, sort of like a modern cosmoline. It is now being sold by Birchwood Casey.

Thank you again.
Now I am going to decide wich of the two I will order :-) Froglube or Rig
