Clarence Clemons, the legendary sax man for The E Street Band has passed away at the age of 69. He had suffered a stroke several days ago. His music will live on for a long long time. Rest in peace, big man.

Clarence a legend for sure.. sad to hear that, many great tunes he laid down, I can't play the sax personally but man I love a good player..... nothing like a sax in place of lead vocals..:D

DT, first I have heard of this today. I have been puutzing around doing my "manly" chores and stopping in here occasionally. I knew he was admitted a couple of days ago, but Ohio news didn't give any of the details. This brings back memories when our daughter used to corral my wife and I in her "studio" (lower level) when she was about 8 or 9, and dance to "Born In The U.S.A." when it came out. Great musician, his music will live a long time as you said.
Peace & prayers to the Boss and the E Street band as well. Such a loss . . . . . . .
Be safe.

Oh wow!, bummer to see. I had only heard he suffered a stroke, wasn't aware he died. Too bad. My condolences to the family and friends.
