R.I.P. Janet Leigh

For my son and his friends, Janet Leigh will be remembered as Jamie Leigh Curtiss' mother, but for anyone of my age, she will be forever remembered for he shower scene in "Psycho". That remains one of the scariest movies ever made and that scene is such an integral part of it. I actually knew a couple of girls who, during the summer of 1960, stopped taking showers as a result of that film.

Janet Leigh was, first and foremost, however, a lady and a great actress. She will be missed.

I had the honor of attending a showing of the original Psycho in the mid 1990's where she showed up gave a talk and answered questions for about 20 minutes.

I remember when the original Psycho came out and I remember being afraid of the shower for weeks afterward. Janet Leigh was a great and verrrrrry sexy lady.
