Well, it didn't die really. However, that damned clip snapped off. I was walking through a doorway, and the clip must have hung up juuust right. Now, I have bounced off of many door ways, but none of those occasions have done anything like this. A loud, metallic "ping" sounded, and I knew that my Spydie has had its last by the way it slumped into my pocket.



It is more of a nuisance than anything, I suppose. Now I need to order another clip from somewhere. Dammit...
I, in no way, blame spyderco or see them as a lesser company for this. It was just a freak accident that resulted in a snapped clip.
