My dad recently bought me a fixed blade knife made by R.J. Adams. I am wondering if anyone has heard of him and if so how popular are his knives. He was at the Atlanta Blade show, not sure if that means anything or not. I am just trying to get an idea if this knife is going to be worth anything.
The handle the wood is made of came from a cool place. It was part of a bar in the Philipines for 70 years and is made of Narlwood(sp?). Pretty cool.
As far as collecting handmade knives, does anyone have any tips and pointers? Like, do I need to get documentation of the fact that it was a bar? Do i need to know what kind of Steel it is? Anything else anyone can tell me would be great.
