5" blade of CPM3V, with G10 slabs. Perfectly hollow ground with unsharpened top swedge. Not only is this a perfect size, do-all kind of knife, it's just cool! Typical R.J. Martin razor sharpness, meaning that arm hairs run and hide at the very thought of this knife coming out of it's sheath.

What kind of coating is that on the blade? Where did you get it?

Nice knife! I only have 1 knife from RJ, and it is not nearly enough. Great design + great materials = great performance. Oh yeah, that 3V stuff kicks some serious ass!

Yep, that is a good looking blade sized just right to do alot of things. Coming from R.J.'s bench I bet that rascal is sharp. Nice score!!
Stay Safe,
Clyde

The black coating is my least favorite thing about this knife. I believe it is some kind of black laquer. I got it recently from Chris W. here on the forums.

That's one great knife.
I know it because I have one QUEST by RJ Martin too. :D

That Hooligan looks like a great update of Randy's Quickening--always has been one of my favorite Martin styles. Feels great, functional size, incredible edge, and now in CPM3V. Man, what a knife!

I really like the Quest, too. I have a Trek, same style, but I think I might like the extra blade length of the Quest even a little better. My Trek is one of the sharpest knives I've ever had--could be THE most efficient cutter I've seen.

Congratulations,
Will
