Who here has used Mr. Clark's knives? I just sent him an email begging him to make a pointy wharncliffe Model 1 for me and want to know other folks' experiences with his knives.

Many thanks in advance

I have one of his MAUs that I got in a trade, it is a great little knife. From everything I have seen of his work, he makes excellent knives, and his prices are very good. His carved leather sheaths are amazing.

I have had 5 of Ron's knives of all types, but my favorites are the Japanese style ones. His O-1 is a very agressive cutter and is easily maintained. His cord wrap handles are very nice and both his Kydex and leatherwork are as good as you will find from a maker. Highly recommended.

Ron makes great knives. I have two: a Model 6 and an MAU in S30V. Excellent grinds, nice sheaths. I met Ron at the Blade Show and have to say he's as nice a guy as any I've met. I will be ordering again from him. I don't think you can go wrong. I've also seen all the knives blademan13 had and they were all of the same quality. Go for it.

I'm going for it. I'm just waiting for him to get back to me and, if accepted, for the knife to get done. In the meantime, I wanted to know what sort of goodness to expect.

Thanks everyone

I have two that are really wonderful knives. They are a very good value. His knife is the reason I like Japanese style blades today.

That must be a persuasive knife. If the non-tanto-esque blade I'm begging him for gets me into Asian-styled blades, I will regard the gentleman with a high amount of awe and fear.
