R3 idea

Would the R3 make a good neck knife if the scales were removed? I would love to see what is under there. It's only a TINY bit bigger than the scrapivore so why not?

For some reason that pic shows the knives blade up but when I looked at it on my phone earlier the blades were down. The internets are trying to confuse me.

I was wet-molding leather for a sheath and I wanted to protect the steel from rusting... The sheath was Ok until I put it in hot wax... it shrunk a lot...

Might cost a pretty penny, but if you found someone with a mill they could skeletonize it for you.

I have since stripped and sanded, and then stonewashed mine. Just need to get the bolt to screw the handles on and make a new sheath

I had norcalblacktail skeletonize a couple of knives for me a few years back. He got someone with a waterjet to do it. I'm not sure if he offers that service anymore.

Yes it is.
A bit uneven , but considering the tools I had at the time... it's functional though, locks the finger in.
Might still add a ferro rod scraper now that I got a dremel.
