And an older Fiddleback sheath.

This is my second R series knife. My first was the R4. This one is almost exactly like the Sarge knives I have/have seen. Except for one thing. WOW this is a heavy knife. Mine has a THICK blade ~1/4". On a knife this small that is a thick blade.

Kumar made mine. The grinds are excellent. The thumb rest filework is a little uneven, but just gives it character. I haven't sharpened it yet. I already had a sheath for it, so just popped it into its new holder and on with my day. Plus, it came pretty sharp already.

Yangdu picked me out a real winner with this one. I really appreciate her service. We are spoiled here. Thank You Yangdu.

yep:) the R-6 is a can't-bust-'em Sarge/KPH. I really like mine. It would make a great emergency pry bar. Mine is made by Vim and is wonderful! I made a simple little ugly sheath for it, and have packed it for several weeks. The new Nessie is probably going to dethrone it for at least a little bit, but i like to keep it in the car or truck for an emergency blade that won't let me down.

Yep. That Nessie will be for different types of tasks. This one is a spike. I won't be prying with my Nessie. But this thing. Heck yes.
