Forged from 1084, this custom dagger is 13 1/4" overall with 5 5/8" cutting edges. It features a leaf blade shape, and has a hand sanded and etched finish. The handle is synthetic ivory, black G10 spacers, an aluminum bolster and custom aluminum rabbit head pommel. The knife comes with a hand formed, custom dark brown leather sheath with black stitching.

Interesting design, I like it. Is the design yours or a did the concept come from elsewhere? Why a rabbit? Is the rabbit head carved or cast? How’s it put together?

The design is a collaboration between a customer and myself. It was more of me bringing her vision to realization. The rabbit head is part of that vision. The whole construction is a threaded though tang. I carved the pommel from a piece of aluminum round stock, which is screwed and epoxied on.
