Radiation for 8 weeks....

Patsy,my suffering soul-mate just completed her 8 weeks & was given a diploma & a coffee cup.

Now she will be getting a reduced chemo treatment every 3 weeks until May. Somewhere along the way she will be getting hormones to perk her up.

She was told that in all probability,she'd be sick as a dog very soon. Several times she was given dire warnings but she breezed through without too much discomfort. Evidently they do this so maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Her treatment started in February so you can see that this is very protracted . Anyone else witness this ?

Our part-time maid is ready & willing to pitch in if needed.She is a true friend as well as an employee.

We appreciate your support & prayers.

Prayers for you both.

If this is any comfort, I have a family member that just went through this, this year.
The main thing that she said that she had with these treatments were that she felt a little tried. And I was talking to her yesterday and she said she was feeling fine.

My mother and her twin sister both went through radiation and chemo in surprisingly good order. I had lower level radiation and had no problems other than feeling wiped out.
 
Prayers and smoke fer ya both, next time I talk to the Big Guy I'll mention ya both.
