I'm extraordinarily lucky to get the the first prototype of a radical new knife called the Suspenza. This new knife uses beyond state of the art features and technology to give unprecedented performance while keeping weight to a minimum.

First pic shows the composite G10, balsa, nylon mason line construction. This is the pinacle of lightweight performance construction.

This next picture shows the exciting new SISTER (Shock Isolation SysTEm Redundent) Besides providing world class shock isolation, it also incorporates the SKAS (Square Knot Attachemnt System) and the UAAD (User Adjustable Angle of the Dangle ) technology. This even allows a user to change blades wihtout tools if need be!

In this picture you can clearly see the DSD (Dremel Sanding Drum) opener unequaled traction for sure openings and ease of use!

Release of these have been a bit slow due to problem with the Aerospace Grade Hot Glue assembly techniques but those issues are being addressed as I speak!

And just a note if it's not already obvious, you can only get this kind of quality MADE IN THE USA! We expect that inferior overseas made copies will show up soon, be on the look out, don't get taken!

Final MSRP has not been determined, but suffice it to say it will be competitively priced among the highest thought of, yet not it's equal peers!

Yes, "Sharpie" damascus wil be an option, blue, black, red, yellow, green.

A emery board will be included for your own customized filework design.

I was wondering when the knife industry would catch up with the rest of the world and start using balsa wood in construction.

However, since the material is so exotic right now in knife making and I am not a rich man, I think I will wait for Mtech to make their version of the Suspenza with balsa-appearence plastic. I don't need the performance of balsa wood, I just want the bling factor.

I don't know, being a prototype it's really kind of priceless. I'll talk to the company and see what happens.

Oh I forgot the TFFSH (tm) (Tactical Feedback Fluid Splurt Hole) A little hard to see, but a round hole in the blade that guysers fluids up for tactical feedback, let's you know when you've cut alittle to deep!

Hair, you just asking for trouble! Balsa is the ultimate lightweight tactical material, looks like wood, wears like Balsa! Mtech plastic will not give you the same performance~!

DaveH, thank you for making me laugh harder than I can remember!!!!!!! Please keep us informed of production dates. As soon as you get the hot glue thing worked out, I like to be the "first on my block"!!!!!!!!!

Will you make a version with blood grooves?

Is it balanced for throwing?

... stepping out of character for a moment: Imagine throwing that thing at someone!

"What did you just throw at me? Was that a wounded bird grasping a sculpture of former president Taft? And did I see some balsa wood construction? SWEET!"

You could replace all of the pics in this thread with pics of the Dark Ops Stratoraptor, and replace all instances of "balsa wood" with "murder steel" and it would still work.

Jokes aside, this thing kinda reminds me of the C&C Hawk ET. Not to put the ET down- I think it's cool.

Wow! So this is the one certain makers were whispering about in dark corners at the Atlanta blade show. The one the ABS wanted to keep under wraps. Only DaveH could get his hands on the prototype.

I hear the custom models are hard to come by. There is a 5yr. waiting list. Maybe they will make a mid-tech model. :D

According to an inside source* the adhesive will be replaced with a titanium screw in the production model. They had to work in some titanium somewhere....

I think we need to start an "intoxicated knifemakers" forum, maybe we could call it "knifemakers under the influence." :p :D

lol... just kidding.... thanks for the laugh!! :D:thumbup:
