Radical new sog

No one I know has one, but unless your an electrical engineer or a IT professional then most of the new tools on it would be useless, course maybe you could swap the parts from a powerlock and get the best of both worlds.....makes you think.

Indeed. In fact: Even most IT people wouldn't have use for many of the tools. 110 and 66 block punch-down tools? That's TelCom stuff. (And w/o the spring-loaded dealy that real 66 block punch-down tools have, it would make dealing with them an even bigger PITA than they normally are.) Pretty-much the same with the spudger. A Romex stripper? Most IT people won't be dealing with Romex at work. Ever. The crimper? Even assuming it really can effect enough pressure to crimp properly, most IT people would find little call, if any, to do so.

It's impressive in its tool line-up, but I think even most IT pros wouldn't have a use for much of it.

yep that worked. I like the premise but some of the tools included leave me at a loss. You must need to be either a phone installer or network cable layer to make use of most of the tools.

I do love me some SOG tho and the PowerLock is one of two I will buy soon.

The second? Thinking a Victorinox Spirit maybe.
