Radio/CD player

I'm on the market for a compact (portable) radio/CD player. A nice feature would be an USB port or SD card reader so I can "feed" it mp3 files from an USB or SD flash memory. So far I found the Philips AZ 3830 (portable, 2x4W, USB port, plays mp3 and wma). If anyone knows the AZ line from Philips, I'd appreciate some opinions on their quality and reliability. If you have alternative suggestions, I'm all ears, of course Thank you in advance.

If you want to use MP3 files anyway why not just get an MP3 player?

I think my question wasn't clear
By "portable" I mean I can move it from a room to another, and take it along on vacations. It is not something I plan to wear
It must:
- have decent audio quality
- play regular CD's and mp3's, the later from CD or USB memory
