Hi BF Family,
I was given permission by a supermod to host a raffle, all proceeds go to a stand up BF member, Mykel in need of a hand. I first caught wind of Mykel's situation in a JK thread. JK, KyEnglish and others were trying to do their part to help Mykel. I hope that if you get a chance to read this, that you will be able to participate in the raffle or help out Mykel via his go fund me page or pp account directly.
While most of us have more knives than we know what to do, I personally don't want to lose sight of all the great people that I've been able to interact with on the forum. This situation just reminds me that there are real people out there in the world behind our BF names. Everyone finds out in a short time that it's the people that we come back for on BF and not just the knives.

As background, Mykel was hit with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneurapathy (CIPD) in June and it left him disabled and unable to work. He's progressing towards getting the proper long term help but with the bureaucracy to make that happen who knows how long it will take. In the meantime his healthcare has made him unable to work and he is behind on bills.

HOW TO ENTER!
It's $10 entry pp (ff, preferred) to my pp, remember all proceeds go to Mykel. Only 20 slots are available. I'll call the raffle when all 20 slots get filled and I will keep a running list of the entrants along the way.
Your name will be put into a hat and my wife will randomly select the winner. I will mail out the gift card to you via USPS priority. Good luck to all and I hope the winner enjoys Capital Grille. I've been to several locations many times and the ones around NYC are a go to for business lunches. Please check that there is a location close enough to you that you can go to as there are quite a few around the country.
