Raffle For Evan

This community has been so good to my grandaughter Hanna, that I thought it was time for me to help out someone else. Evan is the 6 year old son of forum member gradall5200, who was diagnosed with leukemia on December 29th. Evan also goes to Hope Childrens Hospital where Hanna goes.

This is Evan in the middle with his 3 year old twin siblings Carson and Claire.

What I would like to do is hold a raffle for Evan, with all proceeds going to the family to help with bills. Chances are $10 each, and for every chance you buy there will be a ticket with your name put in a large jar from which on February 28th a winner will be picked. Payments should be made to jdsandeno@yahoo.com Please include your forum name in the comments!

I had originally made this for myself, but I can always make another, this is for a great cause.

Here are the specs:

Large Knife

10 1/2" overall
5 3/4" blade
1/4" thick O1 steel (I do very, very, few knives in 1/4" stock)
Right side chisel grind, with a secondary edge

Companion Knife

4 3/8" overall
2" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel
Right side chisel grind, with a secondary edge

This post is a marker, so I can find it easily. I will be sending money later this week. On the off chance that I should win the drawing - please do one of two things:

1. Hold another auction for Evan so more money can be raised for him.

2. Give the set back to John and I'll donate a different knife for another auction (for Evan).
 
I dont know what to say really, as thank you just isint enough. it means a ton to us! Also might I say what a fantastic knife set thoes are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I thought Becky had it bad driving 45 minutes to Hope Hospital, Joel has to drive for almost 2 hours, each way!

Yup,I blew it too & forgot to put my screen name in the notes with the PP payment.
