I have been using the Rage expandable broadhead for two seasons now, but this was the best chance for pics. I love these broadheads. THey fly like field tips, but leave monstrous holes.

I am in no way connected with this product, but they are what I will shoot til they make something better.

I usually let little guys like this walk, so they can get bigger, but he got too close.:D It was right at dark, and he came in fast chasing a doe. So,

Wow I have not seen many holes like that made from a broadhead. Usually thats something you see from a rifle cartridge. Congratulations on the buck.

Attaboy T!! You got a nice one already!
I'm on my way out the door right now to try some pheasant hunting, rained last two days here!

I'm fixing on hitting the post office this week, keep your eye out beginning of next week ;)

Rage broadheads are sick, the entrance and exit look worse than a 12 slug ga. wound from all that I have seen.

If it's Brown it's Down:thumbup:

I changed to rage from muzzys last season and I will agree they are awesome. I'm guessing you're useing the 2 blade rage from the looks of the exit hole, thats what I use.

HOLY . . . SON OF A . . . T, you weren't kidding that was a big old hole. Great shot, I guess your eyes do very well in the dark. Not only are you part ninja but part batman too.;) I love it man and I'm glad you had a good time. Now go get some more, I want to see some more pics before the end of the year so I can live vicariously.

JParanee, very nice buck as well. Congrats to the both of you!!!!

I have heard alot of good stuff about Rage Broadheads. I have not made the switch yet. I still shoot a 4 blade Muzzy. I will say this. I know another local hunter that shot a good buck (140 range pope and young) with the 2 bladed rages earlier this bow season. Deer did not die instantly. Guy went back next day with a tracking dog. They found the deer beded down. Deer jumps and starts through the woods then crosses a county dirt road where it is hit by a passer by. The Impact finished the deer off. Crazy thing is now that the truck finished it off he can not submit the deer to pope and young. Deer had a hole very similar to yours and it still lived through the night to be killed by a truck the next day.

Too bad Oregon doesn't allow the use of expandables, can't even try them. They sure look like they do the job. Congrats,,, :)
