My version of Ragnars epic one handed viking axe.
Just recently finished uploading the final part. Funny coincidence...i've finished this axe only a few hours before 'Man at Arms' posted theirs...
Have a look and leave some comments what you think of it...some "outside" opinions are important to me!

I hope you still have access to this axe and are able to replace the wedge, unless you are sure it is going to be permanently hanged on the wall. An idea for the shape of the wedge https://www.heavydutystore.com/cach...ize_5_Steel_Handle_Wedge_original_142040.jpeg
Or just use plain wood wedge.

No don't worry...i already thought of this...but...
This axe was only ment to be a part of a cosplay...!!!
The guy who ordered it wanted it to be a more or less "real axe" anyways...
So yeah...it's more a decorative thing then a real axe...
But...thanks again...will keep this in mind for maybe further axes!!!

Aside from sound effects (music) sucks and the Handlegrain Police will crap for what it looks like. I like it. Best of all it was made in a workshop outfitted with 3Ø electric.
