Ragweed Forge 'hawks . . . ?

Anyone familiar with Ragweed Forge and their line of tomahawks. They certainly are priced right and customer service seems to be very good.

Appreciate any comments pro or con.

I see little mention of them here but someone has to have experience with them . . .

Theyre 410 stainless, so idk how well theyll hold an edge? Might have a good heat treat though?

I have their British Belt Axe and have been very happy with it. It sharpens pretty easily and holds an edge just fine for the things I would use a 'hawk for.

For the price, I think they're the best you can buy. I would certainly encourage anyone thinking of buying a CS hawk to spend a few bucks more and buy a Ragweed instead.

I have had their Iroquois hawk for over 4 yeas now and it isa great little hawk

i got 2 french hawks and a french "lady" hawk for throwing. best hawks i have.

The British Belt Axe I ordered on 6/20 arrived today via Priority Mail. Four days from order placement to receipt of tomahawk. Really good customer service and attention to detail. :thumbup:

I love the look of the Hawks they sell, and a ton of other knives etc they sell as well. I'm still kicking myself for not making that order i was planning before they changed to a "U.S only" shipping policy.
Its annoying considering how really close they are to the Canadian border. If i still lived in Ontario i consider trying to buy some stuff from them and cross the border to pick it up, lol.
