Does anyone know Ragnar at Ragweed Forge?
I have bought some blades and associated supplies from him recently. His service was great and he has an excellent selection of finished blades.
Recently his site has had a message saying he is closed due to health issues. This is a bummer since he has exactly the sort of product I am interested in, at good prices, and with a better selection than anyone I have seen.
(I have no intention of making blades. I want to assemble knives and make sheaths. The scandi style blades with stick tangs are exactly what I like)
Just wondering if/when he will be back.
In the meantime, I have bought some material from Brisa in Finland, and am also aware of Thompsons Scandinavian Knife Supply.
Any other suggestions? I like the idea of getting blades from a reputable source so that I am not investing time and effort putting a nicely crafted wood handle on a piece of junk. That's where the appeal is of buying blades from Helle or Mora or Lauri, etc.
