Hi all,
A little back story. Kim Of RAIDOPS lives in S. Korea and English is very much a second language for him. Being in S. Korea, it is sometimes difficult for him to get supplies and equipment that he requires. I have helped Kim out with getting those supplies to him and over time, have come to know him not only as a talented knife and tool maker, but a close friend. I have been a big fan of RAIDOPS products, and although RAIDOPS is known more in Asia and Europe, there is interest here in N. America. With his work being hand crafted, he was unable to produce as much as he wanted too.
A couple of years back, Kim let me know that he would not be producing as much as he was concentrating on a venture that would increase his production, and needed to focus on his business. From time to time, Kim would fill me in on how this venture was coming along, but asked me to keep our conversations confidential. Well, it isn't a secret anymore as Kim has begun production on his knives and tools. Kim has entered a partnership with a manufacturer in Taiwan to help him with the production of his products. He will still make custom tools and knives, but on a limited basis.
Last year, Kim asked me to help him out with getting a major piece of equipment to him from the US, and as a thank you, he said he was sending a box over to me. I didn't have a clue what he was sending me, but when it arrive, it was the biggest box I had received from him. When I opened it up, was I surprised!!! The package contained numerous smaller boxes that had printed drawings of what was contained inside. Kim has been a very busy fella!!!
I wanted to share some pics with my fellow gadget guys who enjoy Kims work.

Kim has made patches in the past, so it isn't a surprise he made a few more designs.
Look for more developments from Kim shortly. He has some very cool stuff in the pipeline!
