Well, Karen and I have returned to the furnace and had an absolutely wonderful time. As it turned out, all your prayers were heard and the car was fixed and back on the road by 0930 hrs.
The catalytic converter went bad
but now it runs like a champ again.
We had rain and record breaking.....102 in Denver......temps. The rain was a lot of fun. Even a tornado warning to make life real exciting.....
My middle son and his fiance joined us for the weekend and we all had a fun time talking, laughing and shopping.....well and lots of eating too....so much for the diet. Back to that tomorrow. :barf:
I can tell you that driving all over the western half of this country this summer has been a real blast. Every place has a beauty of it's own. I do believe the next trip up north will be via the back roads through the Rocky Mountains. And my next vacation is going to be exploring the meteor crater and the petrified forest up in northern Arizona. Then up to the Grand Cave-in and back over to explore the territory around Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Of course, that will be next year, I'm traveled out for a few months. Glad to be back home and hope to be back to normal in a day or 2.....
