It's been raining like the very devil here. Irene ... now some other wet-blanket of a hurricane.

When will it ever end? When my house finally floats into The Mall???:(

Looks like it's going to be one of those weekends.

Stay dry Jamie! We are going through severe flooding at the moment here in SE PA. I'll take some pictures of whats left of my driveway tomorrow :foot:

Jamie,
You could try professor Walter Levin's explaination of "how to avoid getting wet in the rain" with Physics; however, the application on such a macro level would be challenging at best. Looks like better weather is just ahead.
Hang in there my friend.
Thoughts are with everyone in the flooding areas.

Hey OP, get them physics tuned brains to work and send them rain clouds down here!!!! :D

Bad all around this summer, heavy rains to the east drought in TX, etc. I had 3 family members and there families evacuated due to the fire around Bastrop TX. I wonder what this winter will bring:eek: I hope all effected can/will recover as soon as possible.

Look on the upside of things, at least there are no forest fires with that kind of weather.

OP, I rarely, if ever, fail to see eye to eye with you, but it happens our area has been in a drought for a LONG time. I confess to dancing in the rain here lately! (OK, sorry for the visual on that!) :foot:

Perhaps a compromise. Ship a little our way and dry you out some? That would be great!

I'm stuck in a dilemma where I have to pay for water to be hauled because the wells can't keep up. I never use the minimum amount of water I am charged for, but I have to pay to go to town and have my car washed, 'cause I'll get cited and fined if I do it at home. Silly, huh? ;)

Hugs, dear friend. Hope you dry out soon!
